The purpose of NORDPHOS is to develop and deliver transformative technologies and business models for a future circular economy in the water sector. As such our vision is to set up the system solutions that can place us humans in the centre of the biological circuits and create truly ecological production systems.

For now our main focus is on providing technologies for water treatment, with the BioGenerator as the key solution. However, our goal is to establish an intelligent platform for developing and establishing complete system solutions for a circular bio economy, with our bio systemic water treatment as the enabling facility.

History

NORDPHOS is established in 2018, as a spin of from the innovation agency, Minor Change Group, who is specialised in circular economic business development. Minor Change Group has in the period 2014 – 2018 initiated and managed several R&D projects with focus on applying circular economy in the water sector. Among them two major projects on the Island of Samsø in the middle of Denmark, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Food, and with participation of leading R&D institutions and water technology companies in Denmark. NORDPHOS is based on the findings and results from these projects.
